Firstly I would like to start by saying a big thank you to all those people who have continued to support my blog and my YouTube channel. I really appreciate your comments, likes, follows and subscribes. Even though there have been times I have wanted to throw this computer out of the window, I have been amazed at the support I have received over the past year.
The statistics on my blog and my vlog have shown me that they are growing. My blog has doubled in numbers this year and I now have more subscribers on my YouTube channel. So I’m really proud of what I have achieved this year. Plus I cannot wait to start writing my cookery book. I’m really looking forward to piecing all the information I have about my Dad’s recipes together and then placing them into one beautiful book.
The one person I would also like to thank is my wonderful husband Howard. He has been my rock this year and he continues to edit my blogs brilliantly. In the past year he has encouraged me and helped me to keep going. Without him, this computer would have been thrown out of the window a long time ago.
As well as the above I have lots of ideas for new recipes and videos that I cannot wait to start. There may be a little bit of practising over the Christmas period too. I’m sure Howard and Ted, my husband and son, will be willing guinea pigs for my experiments. I am going to take a little break for a week but my blog will be back on Wednesday 3rd January 2018.
So I have lots to look forward to in the new year and I’m looking back on this year knowing that I have grown. When I say I have grown I mean not only in my blog and my YouTube channel but as a person as well. I feel like this journey I have decided to take has boosted my confidence. It’s made me feel that I can achieve if I put my mind to it. For me, 2017 has been a thoughtful year, and I am truly grateful for everything that has happened.
Now all that’s left for me to do is wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope 2018 brings you everything you wish for and more. Also I really hope that you will continue to support my blog and my YouTube channel. For now, I wish you all joy, happiness and laughter and here’s to 2018. Let the good times roll for everyone in the New Year.
